Carol Georgette Lake Bradley collection, 1935-1942.

Collection will eventually consist of 45 handwritten spiral-bound volumes, containing the autobiography and memoirs of Carol Georgette Lake Bradley (1922-2006). Includes her narrative about Barringer High School (graduated 1939) and Duke University (graduated 1943). Also includes transcriptions, printed digital scans of the pages and other inserted items, and electronic files which have been migrated to Duke's electronic records server. Acquired as part of the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture.
